Expanded Glass from Recycled Glass
Glasphera® transforms post-consumer glass into lightweight, high-performance sands and granulates – engineered for the building materials of tomorrow.
Recycled glass can be transformed into reliable building materials that support circular construction. Expanded glass granulate gives post-consumer glass a new purpose as a functional raw material in environmentally friendly building materials. Produced with proven technology, Glasphera® expanded glass granulate is engineered for consistent quality and high performance across industrial and commercial applications.
By using recycled glass, we help protect natural resources. Our product helps the building industry lower their CO₂ footprint and contributes to a more sustainable future for the next generation.
The Process
A controlled expansion process permanently encapsulates air in every particle – lightweight, strong, dimensionally stable and durable.
Post-consumer glass is diverted from landfill.
Cleaned and milled into ultra-fine glass powder.
Heat-expanded into closed-cell spheres full of air.
